Playing current and classic indiepop, '60s, girl groups, B-sides and album gems to get people up and dancing. Half My Heart Beats is an indiepop club night in Glasgow that started in September 2008.Lynsey and Colin started the club because they wanted somewhere to go to hear the music they love, and to share it with people who feel the same way. They play current and classic indiepop, but you'll also hear '60s girl groups and anything else they think is a good fit. Inspired by other indiepop club nights, like their friends at Spiral Scratch in London and the peerless National Pop League here in Glasgow, they hope Half My Heart Beats has an identity all of its own. They don't just play the hits; you'll also hear album track gems and B-sides, the stunning songs you wouldn't normally get to hear in a club setting. Dancing is very much at the heart of the club, and the playlists are put together with that in mind.
