Singles Night is the venture into sound from Messers Beans and Divine! After years of carrying large bags of 12" packages of musical treats they've decided that all good things tend to come in 7" form. Singles Night does what it says on the label - 45s only ALL NIGHT! And if you do happen to be single, then you're very welcome too... Expect a selection of the finest 45s from the minds of ANDREW DIVINE! (Glasgow School of Art) and CHRIS 'BEANS' GEDDES (BELLE AND SEBASTIAN). We could list a whole bunch of random records here - suffice to say, SINGLES NIGHT will play right across the board, celebrating seven inches of music spinning at 45 revolutions per minute from whatever decade. From Bo Diddley to De La Soul, from Orange Juice to the 13th Floor Elevators, from LCD Sound System to Lee Perry, Chic to The 1990s - we could go on. But we won't...
